Pop-A-Bear is the new identity for a bear toy that shoots foam balls from it’s mouth when you squeeze it’s belly. The brand’s camping theme was inspired by travel to national parks. The logo and word mark balance retro toy nostalgia with modern sensibilities. The package design is a mobile camper that houses the bear toy and also provides storage for four extra balls and an illustrated, pull-out, target board to shoot at.
I designed a sturdy, illustrated, insert that is a target to shoot balls through. The insert also nicely frames the container that holds the four extra balls that come in the box.
