Reason is an American libertarian magazine which covers politics and the economy. My re-branding includes a fresh word mark, featuring a light-bulb ‘O’, which represents the magazine’s desired image as a smart, fact-based, journalism, and also a feature article layout.

The covers feature their longtime word mark, that could use a refresh. The issue design tends to be cramped and dry. My task became to create a youthful, interesting, and sophisticated re-branding for an otherwise, smart magazine.
